Mark Galaz, John Day and Penny Burbidge, BDS Adelaide
Dr Mark Galaz and Dr John Day have been involved in Dentistry since 1978. It was only a few years later that Mark and John established their practice, and they have now been together in private practice for over 35 years.
Over this time, both dentists have gained a wealth of knowledge and experience. Mark and John’s practice has flourished due to their thorough and honest approach. They strive to maintain current and first-class concepts and practices, through continuing dental education. They have both spent many years tutoring dental students.
In addition, Mark has strong interests in dental Lasers and aesthetic dentistry.
Dr Penny Burbidge joined the practice, after practicing overseas. Penny shares similar interests and philosophies to Mark and John and is now well integrated into the practice.
At Gilbert St Dental, we take an educational and preventive approach to dealing with problems of the mouth. These include:

In addition, we appreciate that to many, dental treatment can be an uncomfortable and sometimes costly experience. Leisa, Practice Manager
Leisa has been in the dental in the dental industry for 10 years, starting as a dental assistant after gaining her Certificate 3 in Dental Assisting then working as a front office coordinator. Leisa’s main role at Gilbert Street Dental is to manage the day to day running of the practice and is generally the one scheduling your appointments, processing and managing your payments and maintaining and implementing front office policies and procedures . Leisa provides an exceptional experience greeting all our patients with a smile as well as interacting with you to make your visit comfortable and safe.
Danika, Emily, Melissa and Taylor, Dental Assistants
Danika, Emily, Melissa and Taylor are our friendly and caring dental assistants. They are all qualified dental assistants completing their Certificate 3 in Dental Assisting traineeships at Gilbert St Dental. We are happy to have a friendly and outgoing team of assistants to support our dentists and their top priority is to make sure your visit with us is a comfortable and relaxed experience.
